(Ottawa, ON) – – On Saturday, April 28, 2018 shortly after 3:00 PM the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report a small car on the eastbound 417 near Maitland Avenue being driven in a dangerous manner.
It was also reported that the car’s driver had brandished a power tool toward another driver in a threatening way.
The suspect vehicle had exited the 417 prior to officers arriving at the scene but with evidence provided by the victims and witnesses, Ottawa OPP members located and arrested a suspect.
A 31 year old man from Val-Des-Monts, Quebec has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and uttering threats.
