DRUG CHARGES LAID
(South Dundas) – On July 22, 2017 at approximately 7:53am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a disturbance on County Road 41, South Dundas Township. The investigation resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana from an adult male.
Jake BUCKSHOT (19) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Over 30 Grams
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 5, 2017.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Dundas) – On July 22, 2017 at approximately 10:30pm, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Rowena Road, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male and his girlfriend had occurred. As a result the male damaged property at the residence.
The 44-year-old male from South Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
-Mischief
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 8, 2017. The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(North Dundas) – On July 23, 2017 at approximately 9:30 am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a RIDE and intercepted a vehicle on County Road 43, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
David BALLANTYNE (33) of Ottawa, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 1, 2017.

(South Glengarry) – On July 23, 2017 at approximately 9:10pm, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male and his spouse resulted in the female being assaulted.
The 47-year-old male from South Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault ( 2 counts)
– Assault with a weapon
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 8, 2017.The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(North Dundas) – On July 24, 2017 at approximately 10:16am, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male and his girlfriend resulted in the female being assaulted. Further information revealed the female was threatened and the male damaged property at the residence during the altercation.
The 39-year-old male from Ottawa, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault with a weapon
– Uttering Threats (2 counts)
– Mischief
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

(South Dundas) – On July 26, 2017 at approximately 12:50 am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on Beach Avenue, South Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Victor MARKELL (58) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 5, 2017.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Glengarry) – On July 26, 2017 at approximately 9:58 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 34, South Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Brain MCCUAIG (66) of South Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 10, 2017.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(North Stormont) – On July 28, 2017, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 138, North Stormont Townships and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– July 28, 2017 – 8:42am (North Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 138km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver from Montreal, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(North Dundas) – On July 28, 2017 at approximately 11:19 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 1, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Kassandra BOGIE (24) of Ottawa, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 15, 2017.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS AND DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(North Dundas) – On July 29, 2017 at approximately 12:28pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 43, North Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that an adult female was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident. The female then resisted during her arrest. The investigation also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected Methamphetamine and marijuana from an adult male passenger.
Candice MOORE (29) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order
– Resist Peace Officer
– Assault with intent to resist arrest
– Drive while Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
– Drive Motor Vehicle – No currently valid Permit (Highway Traffic Act)
Christopher BEATTIE (32) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
-Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
MOORE was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall
BEATTIE was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 9, 2017.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Glengarry) – On July 29, 2017 at approximately 6:33 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Mathieu CHARTRAND (27) of Montreal, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Care or Control while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 15, 2017.

(South Stormont) — On July 23, 2017 at approximately 12:48am SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a Break and enter at a Business on Moulinette Road , South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that on July 23, 2017 culprit(s) forcibly entered the business and removed a quantity of electronics.
