Ottawa Ontario – Peanuts, a giant rabbit, made a surprise appearance on Parliament Hill at the annual civil disobedient 4/20 marijuana smoke out.
“That’s a Continental Giant,” the owner Sarah Brudo said. “I bought him at a Rabbitry in Hamilton [Ontario, Canada] I got him at 7 or 8 weeks old, three years ago. He’s fully grown now at eighteen pounds. He’s been living stress free. He has a disease and I feel that all the petting he gets at big events helps him. I bring him everywhere, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa. I don’t know how long I have with him.”
The event organizers felt that the giant rabbit helped place stoner humour in the correct context and is seen here honoured on the steps of Parliament along with Alex Newcombe and a giant donut.
