Male suspect of Indecent acts has been identified

 

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section has identified the male responsible for indecent acts as Robert LANGLOIS, 78 years old of Ottawa.

He has been charged today with:

  • 4 counts of Indecent act
  • 3 counts of Mischief

He was released on a promise to appear.

SACA believes that there are further victims.

Seeking public assistance to identify male suspect of Indecent exposure – with pictures

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is seeking public assistance to identify a male suspect in relation to an ongoing investigation.

On June 18, 2016 at approximately 2:00pm, an unidentified male exposed and touched himself inappropriately in front of a 13 year old female while inside a coffee shop in the 900 block of Richmond Road. An investigation began.

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, approximately 70 years old, white hair, wearing a dark baseball cap and glasses. He was operating a burgundy “Trekker” motorized scooter at the time.

On August 24, 2016 at approximately 12:50pm, the same suspect was observed exposing and touching himself in the same coffee shop located on Richmond Road in Ottawa. This incident was reported to police. Police responded and the male was not located.

On October 6, 2016 at approximately 2:00pm, police received a report of a male in a wheelchair behind Woodroffe Public School, situated in the 900 block of Woodroffe Avenue, exposing and touching himself inappropriately in front of a group of grade school children and staff. Witnesses took pictures of the suspect when he fled the scene.

SACA is now investigating these incidents.
